Who We Are

The Foundation

Innerarity Island Preservation Foundation Corporation was founded in 2022 by community residents  that all had a common passion and interest in preserving the natural ecosystem, wildlife and environment within and around the Innerarity Island, Perdido Key, Florida area.

The main goal of Innerarity Island Preservation Foundation  is to manage, protect and steward the conservation land as outlined  within the stewardship plan and directed per the recorded conservation easement. 


Innerarity Island Preservation Foundation  is a stand alone Florida registered non-for-profit corporation that is not associated with the community HOAs on Innerarity Island.  The IIPF owns the conservation land and manages or stewards the land  as per the guidelines and rules defined in a stewardship plan and as stated in the conservation easement gifted to Conservation Florida to protect the natural habitat of the land for generations to come.  


The HOAs are legal entities specific to the community members within the home owners associations. There is no legal relationships between them with IIPF. The home owners within the HOAs do not have legal or financial responsibilities associated with the conservation land. 


Innerarity Island Preservation Foundation is currently funded through private financial gifts from individuals.  


Yes,  IIPF is a public charity and is registered as a tax exempt charity by the IRS. Donations can considered as a tax deductible gift. under IRC section 170
